Hard-Surface Floor Care in Metro Detroit

Floor care is the periodic work a mop does not replace. Salt, sand, and foot traffic haze tile and vinyl, and grout in an entry or a restroom goes dark long before the tile does. We scrub, rinse, and detail hard floors in Metro Detroit homes and businesses.

Floors we work on

We look at the floor before we quote a method. A finish that is failing needs a different plan than a floor that only needs soil removed. We will say if a floor should be left to a refinisher.

  • Ceramic and porcelain tile, including a grout detail
  • Vinyl composition tile and luxury vinyl plank
  • Terrazzo in lobbies and older commercial entries
  • Sealed concrete when a scrub is appropriate
  • Hard floors in homes: entries, kitchens, and baths that need more than a mop

Carpet

Carpet steam cleaning is not a published service. TODO: add it only if the company actually offers hot-water extraction and can describe the equipment honestly. Until then, floor care on this site means hard surfaces. Routine vacuuming remains part of standard and office visits.

Included

  • Scrub and rinse of hard floors
  • Grout detail on tile
  • Entry and restroom focus areas

Not included

  • Carpet steam cleaning
  • Sanding or refinishing wood
  • Strip-and-wax sold as a flat package

Questions about floor care

Will floor care make a lobby slippery?

We do not leave a wet lobby open to foot traffic. The quote includes a dry time, and we will say if you need to keep people off the floor.

Do you strip and wax VCT?

Only when the floor calls for it and the quote describes the coats. We do not sell a standing strip-and-wax special with a printed price.
